IMPACT Sponsorship


The Pascagoula IMPACT Show Choir has begun a new school year, and we need your support.  This award-winning group represents Pascagoula, MS in our state and southern region as we perform at competitions and many community events.

The mission of the show choir is to promote teamwork, individual growth, responsibility, self-discipline, and time management skills while building leadership skills. Being a member of the IMPACT Show Choir allows students to travel and perform at venues in: Petal, MS, Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, and Orlando, FL, and offers opportunities to meet students from around the United States.

The cost of costumes, musical arrangements, travel expenses and fees for a renowned choreographer from Orlando, backdrops, and stage props can all cause quite a financial burden on many of these talented students.

We hope we can count on your support. In case you haven’t heard of the IMPACT Show Choir, please allow me to share some history with you. IMPACT was started six years ago under the direction of Shanna Luckett.  Since Luckett’s arrival, the show choir has received First Place at twelve of the last nineteen competitions at which they have competed.  In January of 2008, IMPACT was awarded GRAND CHAMPION at the South Jones Invitational.  The choir also received awards for Best Choreography, Best Vocals, and Best Overall Effect.  IMPACT has traveled around the state of Mississippi as well as to Opelika, AL, Birmingham, AL, Orlando, FL, and Nashville, TN.

The reason we are asking for your support is to help the students pay for the cost of hotel accommodations, travel expenses (charter buses), and meal expenses.  We are asking contributors to help us defer the cost of these expenses by sponsoring students.  Your financial support will help keep the performing arts active in our area.  All donors will be recognized by listings in the program booklets for the Dinner Theatre, Spring Variety Show, or with the option of an impressive logo promotion on our equipment trailer, which is exposed to thousands of competition attendees across the Southeast.

Is it possible for you to assist us by making a contribution? Any amount of contribution would be appreciated.

o       Patron sponsors (contributions of $50 - $100) will be recognized in our Dinner Theatre program.

o       Benefactor sponsors (contributors of $100 - $500) will be recognized in both the Dinner Theatre Program as well as the Spring Variety Show Program.

o        Grand Benefactor sponsors ($500 or more) will be recognized in both programs as well on the equipment trailer that travels with the show choir.
